Electric Motorcycle Maintenance Workshop
Siam University promotes green skills for a sustainable future for both our students and community members. The Faculty of Engineering, in collaboration with Bangkok Noi District Office, Wat Nairoong, Rotary Club Yannawa, and Erasmus+: Green Edu Seeds, organized the “Electric Motorcycle Maintenance Workshop” for the community. Participants gained hands-on skills in inspection, disassembly, and controller adjustment. The workshop equipped all participants with future-ready knowledge for clean energy and green mobility. This activity is part of Green Edu Seeds: Innovation for Sustainability, where Siam University collaborates with partners from Thailand, Vietnam, and Europe to foster green skills and empower sustainable entrepreneurship. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding on academic collaboration was signed under the project “Creating Sustainable Careers for Communities” by four partner organizations: Wat Nai Rong, Bang Khun Non District Office, Rotary Club of Yannawa, and Siam University. The initiative is founded on the concept of promoting lifelong learning and professional skill development among community members. The shared objective of the collaboration is to enhance the community’s capacity by providing vocational training in key areas such as electric motorcycle maintenance, electrical systems, solar cell technology, food and health services, and other relevant fields. These skills align with emerging technological trends and are designed to help participants develop sustainable livelihoods, generate income, and improve their quality of life. The project specifically targets youth and unemployed individuals, aiming to expand their opportunities for stable and sustainable employment in the future.
