Toxic waste handled
In Siam University, hazardous (solid/liquid/gaseous) waste is treated by our Waste Technical Team. We strongly aware and recognize that it is our responsibility to do so since toxic waste is serious problems for environment and lives in the world. The waste technical staff are often trained about chemical substances management in the laboratories. All faculties, that provide chemical laboratories as well as toxic substances, are asked to set up the schedule of chemical waste management in each classroom. The chemical waste substances are separated into non-toxic and toxic waste. Then the toxic wastes, that are classified and separately collected in prepared tanks or bottles, are safely stored in a particular room. After that, all toxic wastes are managed and disposed by an authorized company.
