Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

The Ecolife Application that Siam University participates has worked with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to add a new version relating to Tree Planting. Each time the users scan QR code for refusing single-use plastic products, they will receive 5 points which can be redeemed for 1 tree. They hope that this incentive will have impact on the EGAT 3,000,000 Rai Reforestation Project. After the launch of this new project on October 20, 2021, Siam University is very quick in response and we were reported, a week later, that Siam University was ranked 1 st in the university ranking of this project.

With regard to academic and social engagement activities, Siam University has offered and supported many environmental-related courses and activites.
